Leave the busy streets of Hoi An behind and set off by bicycle to explore Cam Kim Island, where quiet village roads wind through rice fields, vegetable gardens and riverside communities. Along the way, meet local families who continue to practise traditional crafts passed down through generations, from noodle making and boat repair to mat weaving and wood carving.
Continue deeper into the countryside to discover everyday life along the Thu Bon River before stepping aboard a traditional basket boat to explore the peaceful waterways of the coconut forest. Visit the local Boat Temple, where fishing communities honour the whale as a protector of those who make their living from the sea.
The journey concludes with a scenic wooden boat crossing on one of the most picturesque stretches of the river, followed by a family-style lunch at a small local eatery overlooking the water. After lunch, relax and gently cycle back to your hotel. End of our service.
