Full description
8:30 AM/2:30 PM – Your guide picks you up from your hotel in Hoi An by e-scooter and leads you out of town into the countryside, where rice fields give way to family vegetable plots and the air smells of soil and morning.
The first stop is a local house where vegetables are grown the old way, without chemicals, with patience. You’ll talk with the family, walk the garden, and pick a handful of what’s in season. That’s what goes into lunch.
The route continues past shrimp and fish ponds — a glimpse into the aquaculture that quietly feeds much of this region — before arriving at a welcoming countryside cooking venue, where a local chef will guide you through the preparation of several traditional Vietnamese dishes using ingredients gathered from the garden.
Sit down to enjoy the meal you’ve created, share stories with your hosts, and experience the warmth of local hospitality before returning to your hotel.
